LAUNCH - A BIG SUCCESS
A great night was had by all. Despite clashing
with a concert at the Con, we received a great turn out, sold
a few CD's, and shared some great music. The 4 piece band
played a focused, passionate and intense two sets, accompanied
(in some pieces) with samples and drum loops. Thanks to the
musicians (Rob Coxon on Drums, Peter Gray on Bass, Tom Williams
on Saxes and keys). Thanks also to Mark Tinson on sound, Rachel
Ellicott on front of house, and the following media people

Newcastle jazz pianist, Terence Koo launches his eagerly awaited
second album "Lunacity" - an exciting fusion of
passionate, contemporary jazz piano, driving hip-hop beats,
exotic world music, and regal classical counterpoint. Terence
was the winner of the Jazz Category in the 1233ABC Newcastle
Music Awards (2008), and his award winning song "Mind
Games" is a feature of the new album, along with another
five originals and several cool, chillout jazz standards.
